Our annual Open Day on 14 June 2026
Have you ever wanted to try out croquet, lawn bowls or pétanque?
Today is your opportunity to try them all as our guest and coached by our experienced and enthusiastic members
The Open Day is an annual fun event which allows us to reach out and invite our community to be experience and participate in what we do.
This year sees 101 years of existing as a club.

During our open day, you and your family will have an opportunity to try out bowls, croquet and . There will be games and competitions for children.
You are very welcome to attend, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Tea, coffee and soft drinks and cake will be available all afternoon.
Approximate timings are:
1.00 Gates open
1.30 Jazz band
2.00 Official opening by Deputy Mayor (tbc)
2.30 Indian Dance Performance on Bowling Green
3.00 Jazz band
4.00 Raffle draws
5.00 Close and Clearing up
PS – we also play table tennis at our club on Monday afternoons, all year round.
